The race was a blast! Being from the area, I often take things such as the streetcar for granted, but this experience helped remind me of how awesome NEW ORLEANS truly is. Super fun way to explore the city and enjoy a healthy dose of competition. A+
Had a blast. I would recommend this to everyone. This is the perfect City to do something like this. Can't wait to do it again!
Lafayette Father-Son Team Win New Orleans Race
Caleb Wilson and his father James took home first place Saturday in the Dat NOLA Race, a competition where teams complete puzzles and physical challenges across the French Quarter and American sectors of the Crescent City. The Wilsons posted a record-setting race time of one-hour flat while beating out four other teams, some from as far away as New Jersey. At age ten, Caleb, a fifth grader at St. Genevieve Elementary, became the youngest competitor to ever compete in the open division of the race. When asked about his record setting time Caleb said, “I would have finished quicker had my dad not slowed me down.” For more information visit: www.datnolarace.com
